The formation of new rules for pay fixation of reemployed Exservicemen is a long pending issue and people are waiting eagerly. The DOPT has initiated to revise the Pay Fixation orders of 1986 which is a discriminative order for PBOR. The Draft revised order has been prepared in 2017 but unfortunately it has been scraped due to administrative reason. Again in 2019 the revised pay fixation order has been drafted and circulated for adpproval of all concerned. Finally DOPT submtted the draft Revised Pay Fixation orders for Reemployed Exserviceman to Ministry of Finance last year. But that was not approved due to some observations and returned to the DOPT in October last year. Finally all that requirement have been fulfilled and resubmitted to Ministry of Finance in the mid week of July 2022.
The executive members of AIREXSA have taken keen initiative to make the process fruitful and till they are monitoring to accelerate the activities.
